I suffered from frequent cyctitis, brought on by stress. The back to back infections and doses of antibiotic treatment brought on gut problems I didn't relate the concurrent frequent athletes foot, ringworm, fungal toenails infections, ocassional oral & vaginal thrush, ear itchiness, vison irregularities and eventually hip joint pain, bourts of depression and brain fog until a friend pointed me to leaky gut & systemic candida. I got rid of the skin stuff & nails with tea tree, lavender oil & sea salt, citrcidal particularly for bathing etc. I sucked then swallowed raw propolis when on holiday where fammily in Italy keep bees, while I ate lots of garlic and lemon juice, no wheat and dairy. After aboput 2 weeks I noiced headaches (Herxheimer reaction from detoxing) and a dark red itchy rash down the inside of my upper arms... candida leaving my body? I think so. I also stayed off wine , vinegar and yeasty foods as well as mushrooms. After a couple of months I took some high quality probiotic supplements freeze dried, no FOS added (brand VSL#3)If it's not kept in the fridge and sold in brown glass or foil sealed pack do not buy, it's rubbish. Other things for candida internal blitz is a 2month diet started if you can with a 3 day juice fast & using enemas for colon clear out, trying the following oral antifunals: Coconur oil, citricidal, oregano oil, Pau D'Arco, olive leaf complex, chlorella. Learn about body PH and what keeps your body PH low in foods. This helps to kill off candida. Be prepared to feel low and a bit ill and liverish while you detox - Candida die-off. introduce brown rice buckwheat carb alternatives when you start to lose weight and need energy. maybe dairy and more meat. Take EFA Omegas 3, lots of greens, nori, avocados, raw as much as poss. little fish and tofu. Almonds, pumkin, sesame, sunflower & chia seeds. Cracked flax and hemp seeds all in salads, (few crushed walnuts are nice too). Learn about calcium, potassium & magnesium and unrefined celtic sea salt. Salt free can be bad almost as bad as refined salty diet. Keep practicing a good diet habits. stay off alcohol, but if you really must for occasional social things, vodka with fresh lemon or tomato is not the worst. (for me wine always brought back cystitis symptoms intitially so I've stayed off it). It's hard but if you are determined to get rid of Candida you will feel so much better, fit and alive.

The use of propolis in humans seems to have a long and positive history and I am interested in learning about how to actually administer it as a most effective form of treatment for internal candida albicans overgrowth presenting in toenail fungus and ringworm as well as periodontal infection and immune response as well as overall beneficial use for improved health. In this light, I have purchased some unprocessed raw honey with beeswax, propolis and enzymes and would like some feedback on how to dose, apply or administer the honey either orally, ingested or topically in this form or with little processing. Please respond to this comment by email to Charlesgiltner@live.com
Thanks

Also, it would be interesting to learn if there is a way to artificially reproduce propolis either chemically or by natural harvesting and processing of the source of the propolis ingredients from the plant sources sidestepping the bees. I am sure this is a tall order, but it would prove to be a popular product in our current and future environmental and health care circumstances. As global warming increases, microbiological organisms will increase in geometrically proportionate fashion. This will have a tremendous effect on human health, animal husbandry, agriculture and civilization as a whole since the effective control of many of the microbiological entities is limited at best. An effective alternative to antibiotic medicines that destroy intestinal flora would be a benefit to all mankind. Any takers on this line of thinking or is there already studies and attempts at this lofty goal? I'd like your thought, whoever you are reading this! Best wishes and great information on the site. KUTGOW (Keep up the good work!)
